This is a Sources Sought Notice for an Emergency Communications Center Integrated Dispatch Console to replace the current unserviceable and antiquated dispatch center. This requirement is for the Nashville VA Medical Center located in Nashville, Tennessee. This Sources Sought Notice does not guarantee the issuance of an RFQ. If you have the ability to provide the requirement, please respond by March 25, 2021 at 1:00 pm CDT to the sources sought notice to Contract Specialist Jeff Ridenour at Jeffery.ridenour@va.gov. This sources sought notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The VA is not, at this time, seeking quotes/proposals and will not accept unsolicited quotes/proposals. You may submit an informal quote/proposal to be used solely for market research purposes. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this sources sought notice; all costs associated with responding to this sources sought will be solely at the interested vendor’s expense. Not responding to this sources sought notice does not preclude participation in any future Request for Quotes/Proposals, if any is issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought notice is strictly voluntary. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
Requirement:
The Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) is comprised of two main campuses located in Nashville and Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and nineteen (19) Outpatient Clinics throughout Southern Kentucky and Middle Tennessee, extending from Bowling Green, KY to Chattanooga, Tennessee. Emergency Communications Center Integrated Dispatch Console requirement is for three (3) all-purpose and interoperable dispatch consoles for V.A. Police for use in operations in support of the V.A. TVHS’s mission and to ensure the safety and security of the V.A.
Police, hospital staff, and its Veteran population. A 3-console dispatch center will allow the TVHS Police and Dispatch Center to connect to the local county police, fire, and EMS as well as between each of the four (4) TVHS campuses.
911 Dispatch Center:

· Call Taking Core Components to include 24 Port POE 10/100/1000 Rack Mount Switch
· Call Taking Network Options

· Call Taking Workstations to include speakers, power supply, licenses, and a 911 SIP phone.
· Call Taking Hardware Options
· Call Taking Workstation Jackbox Options to include cables to connect the call taking station and the radio. The dispatch console to share a common headset jackbox.
· Call Taking Cabling, Wiring, Racks to include connectorized punch block, 25, 10ft RJ-21 cables, PC USB extensions and cables, patch and interconnect cables, jack for data / audio, premium interconnecting wiring and wire molding.
· Call Taking UPS & Power:
· Three (3) UPS for computers and Call Taking Equipment
· UPS for Rack Equipment
· 6 AWG flexible ground wire
· Lugs for 6 AWG wire
· Radio Dispatch Console Equipment:
· Operator workstation PC, media Dock, speakers, & power supply
· Individual call software set. Includes individual radio call, call alert, radio check, Radio Monitor, inhibit / uninhibit.
· Tone signaling / paging capability includes manual paging operation, instant, call & stacked paging, call & stacked paging, 2-tone 100, 1000, & custom calls (Mot & GE), quick call (2+2), DTMF, Knox.
· Event Replay. Short term audio playback at the console position.
· Radio Dispatch Workstation Hardware / Software:
· Headset, 6-wire noise cancelling lower dual-prong adaptor with 10' cable with 1 noise cancelling upper headset top
