Medical Center, Mountain Home, TN. Emergency Elevator Repair. 626-19-4-5096-2462
Brief Description of Supplies/ Services required and the intended use/Estimated Amount:
Remove and replace damaged door operators, Remove and replace damaged car door tracks.
Remove and replace damaged car door hangers, rollers, and clutch Remove and repair damaged hoist way door header Remove and replace controller with control capabilities for new door operators. Remove and replace power unit for integration with new controller Remove and replace fixtures with serial link fixtures to operate with controller. Remove and replace damaged car door panels with matching panels front and rear. The cost is $142.000.00
2. Unique characteristics that limit availability to only one source, with the reason no other supplies or services can be used:
United Elevator Services , LLC is a large business that has extreme knowledge for elevator repair and is in Knoxville, TN. This is very close in distance to the James H. Quillen , Medical Center.
3. Description of market research conducted and results or statement why it was not conducted:
The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center is at risk of causing a delay in patient care . This service is vital and needs to be completed as soon as possible, to avoid a delay in caring for our veterans.
