Amendment to a Previous Combined Solicitation
*= Required Field Amendment to a Previous Combined Solicitation
The purpose of this amendment is to answers questions from the RFQ submitted and to update the Solicitation Price Schedule. The Solicitation due date is hereby changed change from 5-16-2024 to 5-24-24.
1. CLINs 2 – 18 refer to tasks included in the monthly service specified in CLIN 1.
CLINs 19 – 32 refer to tasks included in the annual service (no CLIN specified).
Q1. Can this be rewritten so that a price for monthly service and a price for annual service is all that is required? Yes, it has been rewritten.
Q2. Although the solicitation calls for Base plus 4 Option Years, there is no pricing structure in place to allow us to bid on Option Years. Yes, see A.1 revised, Pricing Schedule has been updated.
Q3.These units have been installed for over a year with no service performed during that time and are now out of warranty. It is very likely that there will be some repair work and possible parts replacement necessary during the initial visit. How does the VA anticipate paying for this as it falls outside of the SOW in this Solicitation? The VAMC intent is to ensure equipment is functioning properly and up to specification prior to the service contract awarded. Therefore, this will not impact any additional charges being generated.
Q4.Why are the POPs not the same throughout the PRICE/COST SCHEDULE? Some are for a year some are for two years; some are for three years. These actions have been corrected, see A.1 revised Price Schedule, and see attached SOW for required monthly and yearly services.
