STATEMENT OF WOK

Mental Health TMS GENERAL: The Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) of the Veterans Affairs (VA) in Lakeland, Florida, located at 2080 Meadowbrook Park Blvd, has a need for PT Ultrasound units across the newly constructed Lakeland CBOC facility.

BACKGROUND: The current Lakeland VA CBOCs will be combining into one new facility and will be expanding services to better serve the local veteran community. The existing Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) of Lakeland VA will be consolidated into a single new facility. This move aims to enhance the services provided, thereby improving the care for the local veteran community.

PURPOSE: The purpose of the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) System is to provide a non-invasive and effective treatment method for patients suffering from conditions such as depression, anxiety, and other neurological disorders. The system aims to stimulate specific areas of the brain using magnetic fields, offering an alternative solution for individuals who have not responded well to traditional therapies. The TMS System is designed to improve the quality of life for patients, contributing to advancements in mental health care and neuroscientific research.

SCOPE: James A. Haley is requesting contractors provide brand name or equal equipment that meets or exceed the physical, functional, and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section. The equipment feature is essential to new facility and allows us to provide the best level of care for our Veterans.
