About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for automated urine analyzer equipment and cost per test (CPT) services at three Department of Veterans Affairs locations in Puerto Rico. The amendment extends the response date from November 20 to November 21, 2023 at 3:00 PM Eastern time. It estimates a monthly volume of 8,600 tests at the San Juan VA Medical Center location requiring two cart-mounted analyzers, and monthly volumes of 1,200 tests each at the Ponce and Mayaguez outpatient clinics requiring one benchtop analyzer at each location. Bidders may provide multiple pricing options, including blended CPT rates for chemistry and microscopic analysis across all three locations. The amendment answers four questions from prospective offerors clarifying requirements and preferences for pricing details in the response.
