1. Refer to Attachments eight (8) and nine (9) (Air Analysis Report) seems to be missing from solicitation documents.
7/10/2023 Midwestern Construction Services, Inc.
VA
Response
Refer to attachments one (1) and two (2) of Amendment 0001 to the solicitation.
2. Solicitation states the contractor shall conduct a mold survey and assessment for rooms 1E206,1E206a,1E302, 1E204, 1EC02, and provide a report to the VA upon completion. Then states The contractor shall perform mold assessment, remediation, and removal of mold in rooms 1E206, 1E206a and 1E302, 1E204, and 1EC02. How do we generate a cost for remediation before a survey is conducted. It seems the best approach would be to modify the contract once the extent of remediation has been established.
Otherwise, all contactors will be submitting different values and this cost will be inflated not knowing the true extend of the remediation.
7/10/2023 Midwestern Construction Services, Inc.
VA
Response
Refer to VA Response One (1).
3. Is the contractor leasing the mobile MRI unit? If so, please provide the preferred vendor to supply this mobile unit.
7/10/2023 Midwestern Construction Services, Inc.
VA
Response
The VA will be leasing the mobile MRI unit, but the contractor is required to perform the under site preparation for the mobile MRI unit. Refer to page eight (8), section B. of the Statement of Work.
4. The 3T & 1.5T Mobile MRI's are they already exist at this location or will this be a separate purchase and installed at the end of the construction period?
