DESCRIPTION

Amendment 0001 to RFQ 36C24822Q0394

1. The purpose of this Amendment is to extend response due date to February 7, 2022 at 5PM EST.

2. Provide responses to Vendor questions. Please see below:

Question 1:

Would the Government please provide the distance to the nearest networked Notifier Node in the Electric shop?

Answer:

The electric shop is on the 5th floor of the Hospital. The nearest node(s) are at the main FACP/DVC/NCA2 in the fire command room 1B505. Existing spare/empty 2” conduits/risers extend vertically from the FACP through the floors, and horizontally through the interstitial spaces via dedicated cable trays to the 5th floor Electric Shop area. New conduit/cabling for the fiber optic line will then need to be added and extended from the gutter to the end user location appx 100’ away horizontally. Sufficient power circuits are available at desired end location for new equipment. Total estimated horizontal/vertical linear feet from the FACP (Node5) to upstairs is appx <300 feet + 100 feet of new to desired location = total of <400 feet.

Question 2:

Would the Government please provide the distance to the nearest networked Notifier Node in the VA Police Telecommunications room?

Answer:

The VA Police telecommunications room 2Q209 is on the 2nd floor of the hospital. The nearest node(s) are at the main FACP/DVC/NCA2 in the fire command room 1B505. Existing spare/empty 2” conduits/risers extend vertically from the FACP through the floor, and can be routed appx <800’ horizontally through the 1M interstitial spaces via dedicated cable trays to the 2nd floor comm room 2Q103. Appx <80’ of new conduit/cabling will have to be added and extended from the communications room (2Q103) to VA police Telephone operators room (2Q209) 2 rooms to the South to the new desired display location. Total estimated horizontal/vertical linear feet from the FACP (Node5) to 2nd floor is appx <800 feet + 80 feet of new to desired location = total of ~<900 feet.

Question 3:

Would the Government please provide the distance to the nearest networked Notifier Node in the Central Energy plant?

Answer:

The CEP’s FACP is Node7 and is located in 1A114 communications room. Appx <100’ of new conduit/cabling will have to be added and extended from the communications room (1a114) to Control room (1A106C) to the new desired display location.
