Questions and Answers-36C24822Q0297-Temporary off-site laundry pickup/delivery services for VAMC West Palm Beach and Miami locations-1-4-22

Hi David, How are you? I hope everything is well. I will need a little more information from you if possible.

1. Are the items to be laundered primarily sheets and pillowcases?

2. What items in addition to white sheets and pillowcases will need to be laundered?

3. Are there any items that are not white in color that will require separation before laundering?

4. Approximately how many pounds of laundry per week do you anticipate sending out to be laundered?

Please advise.

Thanks!

Answer-Good morning.

I believe the information you requested is included in the solicitation, specifically in the PWS on pages 40-42.

Good afternoon, I hope you are doing well. I'm writing to receive clarification on the pricing request needed for the solicitation.

1. In the solicitation attachments the period of performance is (1) base year with (2) six-month option periods, but in the price/cost schedule there are only slots available for the 6-month options. Do you only want pricing for (2) six months services or is the base year plus (2) six months options correct?

1. Do you want the pricing to go on the SF 1449 and price/cost schedule, or do you prefer that I submit my own pricing sheet?

Thank you for your time and communication.

Best Regards, Answers-For your submission of the price quote please use the Price/Cost schedule information as the base period was changed to One six-month period and the Option period to one six-month period.

You should complete the SF 1449 price/cost schedule as its listed but can provide your own additional price quote to match if you desire to do so and Not required.

The Price cost schedule Unit price is based on the estimated quantity-1,500,000.00-clean laundry weight per pound for that period of performance.

Hi Mr. Guley, I’m reaching out because I recently saw the Pre-Solicitation Announcement for temporary laundry services for your West Palm Beach and Miami facilities. It mentioned that a Request for Proposal would be issued around December 17th. Do you have an estimated time for when the RFP will be issued?

The solicitation was posted late in the afternoon on SAM-FBO on 12-16-21 and the number is 36C24822Q0297, and the current end time/date is 4 pm on 1-7-22.

Please check SAM-FBO for the full solicitation and any amendments.

If for some reason that you cannot find it, I could send you a copy of the solicitation.

Hi David, After reviewing the documents this morning, I have a question about pricing structure. Are you looking for a unit price or a pound price? Based on the price/cost schedule it looks like an all-inclusive item price but I just want to confirm.

Please let me know.

Thanks.

Answer- The Price cost schedule Unit price is based on the estimated quantity-1,500,000.00-clean laundry weight per pound for that period of performance.
