Q1. How many linear feet are there in the outer perimeter of each of the buildings?
A1. The total area of the VA complex is 25.8 acres.
Q2. How many square feet are there in the land that comprises the outer perimeter of the buildings to be treated? This is the area where the trees are.

A3. The service is to be provided in the entire VA Medical complex. The outer fence measures are approximately 2,100 linear feet.
Q4. The PWS is not clear if the required service is just for inspection of the buildings or if the service also includes the treatment for termites’ control. Please clarify
A4. Per the Performance Work Statement (PWS) revised version included with the first Amendment to the Combined/Synopsis Solicitation, this service if for “Prevention and Control of Termites Activity”. Section 3 of the PWS address the specific performance requirements. Among the items listed in this section, the contractor shall perform an initial inspection to the premises, develop a Termite Control Plan (needs government concurrence/acceptance), and performed the appropriate services as per the approved Termite Control Plan.
Q5. Could you please provide information on the dimensions of the areas of each of the buildings of the VA Hospital?
A5. Please refer to Questions #1 & 2.

A7. As indicated above, the total area to be serviced is 25.8 acres. The principal objective of this procurement is to provide Termites Prevention and Control within the foundations of the buildings (entire medical center complex). In addition, services may be needed in the interior of the buildings as per PWS paragraph 3.5.
