Rachel.Reed@va.gov Contracting Officer THE PURPOSE OF THIS MODIFICATION TO PREVIOUS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS TO RESPOND TO QUESTIONS RECEIVED FROM INDUSTRY.
1. We came across the below verbiage in the solicitation document: “all projects identified on the SF 330 must be completed by the office/branch/individual team member performing the work under this contract”. Are subconsultants allowed to include projects within the SF330? Or is the prime firm the only one considered when providing projects?
RESPONSE: Yes, any sub-consultant can include projects.
2. Does the existing installation carry a UL Master Label certificate for the existing lightning protection system (LPS) installation? If so, is recertification of the reinstallation desired?
RESPONSE: Not all buildings in the scope have LPS. All buildings will need a UL Master Label certificate and it is best to assume that none are certified at this time.
3. Is the LPS getting replaced in its entirety under this scope of work?
RESPONSE: Yes.
4. Will NOA (Notification of Acceptance) rated roof enclosures be required for protection against air-borne wind debris for re-installation of existing roof mounted equipment?
RESPONSE: No. No enclosures will be required for roof mounted equipment.
