March 2010 Q Vascular Interventional Radiology Services 30901 36C24718R0145 02-26-2018 N 621111 Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 7 Network Contracting Activity 501 Greene Street Hatcher Building - Suite 2 Augusta GA 30901 Estella Midy Department of Veterans Affairs Charlie Norwood VAMC 1 Freedom Way Augusta, GA 30904 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO 7), Augusta, GA intends to solicit proposals from small business Contractors who can provide Vascular Interventional Radiology Services.

The Department of Veterans Affairs Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center (CNVAMC) located at 980 15th Street, Augusta Georgia anticipates a requirement for Vascular Interventional Radiology Services. The contractor’s facility shall be within 15 miles of the CNVAMC. The Contractor shall provide Board Certified /Board Eligible Interventional Radiology Physician Services on site at the CNVAMC. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel to provide services necessary to perform onsite Interventional Radiology Physician Services to eligible beneficiaries of CNVAMC. The reimbursement method will be per procedure using Current Procedural Terminology Code (CPT Codes). The VA Radiology Services are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and follow the standards & guidelines set forth by the ACR. A contractor providing onsite interventional radiologist services shall provide services that meet or exceed the American College of Radiology Guidelines http://www.acr.org/Quality-Safety/Standards-Guidelines/Practice-Guidelines-by-Modality/Interventional

The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or about February 9, 2018. Proposals will be accepted for seventeen (17) days commencing with the issuance date of the solicitation. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website (https://www.fbo.gov) so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments.

In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and in VetBiz database if applicable (VetBiz registration is required for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses) under the applicable NAICS. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov and Vet Biz information at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website as no IDCs can be awarded to any offeror not registered in SAM.

The NAICS code is 621111, Office of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialist) with a Small Business Size Standard of $11.0M. The classification code is Q522. The Base Period of the contract will be date of Award through February 28, 2019, with four (4) one-year Option Periods.
