About this file
This is a Pre-Solicitation/Source Sought Notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 6 (Network Contracting Office 6) on behalf of Richmond VAMC. The notice seeks qualified businesses capable of providing Evoqua Deionized Water System Service and maintenance for the facility.
The required services encompass preventive maintenance contracts (W3TSP3011) providing recurring annual maintenance with all labor and OEM parts; fuel/energy surcharges (W3TSP3006) applied per service visit to cover technician travel and operational costs; conductivity testing and data recording (W3TSP4346) to ensure water purity meets laboratory standards; system adjustments for flows and pressures (W3TSP4408); pump inspections (W3TSP4417); Silt Density Index (SDI) testing (W3TSP4418); prefilter maintenance and replacement per manufacturer schedules (W3TSP4601); and distribution loop cleaning and sanitization (W3TSP4708). Additionally, consumable replacement parts are required, including 20-inch 5-micron multi-bed cartridge filters (W2T159701) and other specified components. The market research is being conducted to determine the availability of qualified vendors who can meet these salient characteristics for ongoing deionized water system service and support, ensuring system reliability and compliance with regulatory water-quality requirements for laboratory operations.
