About this file
This file is a Special Notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, regarding a sole-source procurement for Capillary Electrophoresis equipment and associated products. The Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center has requested Sebia Capillary Electrophoresis reagents, controls, consumables, training, technical support, and maintenance services. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole-source contract to Sebia Inc., located at 1705 Corporate Drive, Suite 400, Norcross, Georgia 30093, with an estimated award date of November 9, 2026. Market research has determined that this is a highly specialized product available only from Sebia Inc. without unacceptable delays or cost duplication, justifying the non-competitive procurement approach.

Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Interested firms must identify their business status (large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), or woman-owned) and ownership (U.S. or foreign). The solicitation number is 36C24626Q1045, with a Product Service Code of 6640 and NAICS code 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing). The contracting office is located in Hampton, Virginia 23667. This notice is explicitly not a request for competitive quotes, and no formal solicitation will be issued. The Government will not reimburse for any information submitted and reserves the right not to proceed with any acquisition based on this notice.
