About this file
This is a Special Notice regarding a sole-source contract award for diagnostic imaging consulting services. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole-source contract to Perspectum, Inc. for LiverMultiScan Consulting Services at the Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The contract value is $19.0 million under NAICS code 621512 (Diagnostic Imaging Centers). The Government has determined that Perspectum, Inc. is the sole source capable of providing the required services, including its proprietary biomarker cT1, as market research confirms the product is highly specialized and only available from a single source without unacceptable delay or duplication of cost. The anticipated contract award date is on or about August 21, 2026, to Perspectum, Inc., located at 245 Main Street, Cambridge, MA 02142.
This is not a request for competitive quotes, and no formal solicitation will be issued. However, interested parties have three calendar days from publication to submit capability statements to the Contracting Specialist, NaTasha Hawkins, at Natasha.Hawkins@va.gov (telephone inquiries will not be accepted). Respondents must identify their business classification (large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), or woman-owned) and ownership status (U.S. or foreign). The response deadline is August 11, 2026, at 6:00 pm Eastern Time. Proprietary data submitted must be clearly marked, and the Government will not reimburse any costs associated with submitted information.
