X one (1) The purpose of this amendment is to respond to offeror's questions as of 1/10/2024:
Please see page two for all questions and the answers.
1. Solicitation language states “The firm and or A-E on staff representing the project must follow State of North Carolina guidelines under State law for all licensing requirements to sign and seal drawings.”
Please clarify if licensing for the AE firm and/ or A-E of record is allowed in any US State, or is licensing specific to North Carolina required?
2. Selection Criteria 2, Professional Qualifications states that personnel are required to be licensed, registered, or certified by a US state, the District of Columbia, or a US territory. Later, under the Submission Requirements, the document states that personnel must follow State of North Carolina guidelines for all licensing requirements. Could you please confirm that personnel do not need to be licensed in North Carolina?
Correction to Selection Criteria 2, Professional Qualifications:
A/E firms are only required to be licensed, registered, or certified by a US state, the District of Columbia, or a US territory.
Answer: No, you do not have to be licensed in North Carolina, however, your state license must carry the same standards as the North Carolina State law for all licensing requirements to sign and seal drawings.
3. The Presolicitation Notice highlights a size limit of 10 MB for emails. Is there a page limit for submissions?
Answer: The pre-solicitation does not place a page limit for submissions.
