This is a Pre-solicitation notice. This Pre-solicitation notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Solicitation, 36C24624Q1065, will be issued on or about 10 July 2024. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Hampton VA Medical Center, Hampton, VA has a requirement for fire system programming/reprogramming services. Contractor would provide onsite services of an EST3 certified technician two days a week to program/re-program life safety devices. Life safety devices include tamper switches, duct detectors, smoke detectors, elevator controls, damper controls, lights, chimes, pull stations, and all other programmable devices of Hampton's fire system located throughout the main and annex buildings. Contractor would be responsible for maintaining/repairing a total of 61 control panels located in 31 zones; update and maintain batteries; maintain/repair auxiliary power supply or ‘booster’ panels; maintain/update programming for all emergency egress doors; run sensitivity reports on all smoke and duct detectors; address deficiencies following periodic life safety inspection of fire systems; complete wiring and programming for replacement of water flow switches and tamper switches; provide fire alarm supplies and emergency support; and maintain fireworks computer system and fireworks network providing updates as needed. Period of performance will be for one year.

This acquisition is soliciting full and open competition. The applicable NAICS Code is 561621 with a size standard of $25 million. All correspondence and responses shall be via e-mail to Diane.stoskopf@va.gov Telephone requests for information or questions will NOT be accepted.
