About this file
This document is a Sources Sought Notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, on behalf of the Fredericksburg HCC. The notice is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified businesses capable of providing autonomous scrubbers with specific robotic features, including manual and autonomous control, autonomous scrubbing route replication, and multi-layer sensor navigation.
The key requirements are that the autonomous scrubbers must have a multi-layer sensor navigation system to perceive the environment and control the vehicle's navigation, with overlapping sensors to detect and avoid people and obstacles. The scrubbers must also include an auto-stop button. Respondents are required to provide information on their business size, interest in providing a Federal Supply Schedule quote or open market offer, active SAM registration, and a capabilities statement. Failure to provide this information may result in the potential offeror being considered incapable of meeting the VA's needs. Additionally, respondents must provide a letter from the manufacturer stating they are an authorized distributor/licensee, or the products may be considered "grey market" and technically unacceptable. The capability statements received are for planning purposes only and will assist the government in developing its acquisition strategy. All responses must be submitted by June 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM EST.
