PRESOLICITATION NOTICE

Project # 659-22-103 – Construct Entry Canopies The Department of Veterans Affairs, 1601 Brenner Ave Salisbury, NC has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 659-22-103, to Construct Entry Canopies at the W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center, Salisbury, NC.

General Scope: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, devices, materials and supervision and will perform all operations necessary for the construction of a canopy at the entrance to the Building 2, Building 21, Building 42, and the walkway between Building 3 and the Parking Garage including but not limited to the general construction, alterations, roads, walks, drainage, grading, necessary for removal of existing structures and construction of the building expansion. Contractor shall verify all existing conditions prior to bid. Work to be performed in strict accordance with specification and drawings. All work, including final clean up and completion of any punch list items, shall be performed within one hundred eighty days (180 days) after the receipt of notice to proceed.

Estimated construction magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000.

NAICS CODE: 236220 Size Standard: $39.5 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about April 13, 2023. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 15 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation.

This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice.
