Response to Questions from Vendors
The following responses is to the Solicitation 36C246-21-R-0007 that was published on
10/09/2020 with one (1) Amendment on 10/14/2020. No. Not all emailed questions are being addressed but after the review of them all a consensus of all the question received a response is given.
1. I noticed the Pre-Solicitation 36C24621R0007 posted on 10/9/2020. It is due 10/23/2020 at
4pm which can be interpreted as an actual Solicitation opportunity versus a Pre-Solicitation notice. Please clarify if this is actually a bid opportunity or simply a pre-solicitation notice?
Ans.: there was a pre-solicitation published first than the Solicitation. The solicitation is due back on 10/23/2020.
2. The Sources Sought indicated the amount of EM Physicians needed was 4 and the number of candidates to be credentialed would be 8.
Ans.: Block 20 on the 1449 form states eight (8) candidates to be submitted and on page 85 of the solicitation E.3 Specific Instructions to Offerors regarding request for proposal (RFP) preparation and submissions: it states the eight (8) backups that is giving a total of sixteen candidates total.
3. However, the Pre-Solicitation now indicates the number of EM Physicians is 8 and the number of candidates to be credentialed would be 16.
Ans.: Emergency Department (ED) Physician eight (8) and eight (8) on in the bull pen – sixteen (16) credentialed.

10. Will the Will the Government consider changing the NAICS to 561320 (Temporary Help
Services)?
Ans.: No. The NACIS code 621493 Freestanding Emergency Medical Center is the correct code since it best represents the requirement in both (time and specialty) due to the fact that the service being requested is a specialized field (ER) and it is for a long term (5 Years) need and not a temporary / short term general healthcare staffing need.
