Text version
1. Coordinate with sheet metal work to provide metal cap flashing for base flashing on curbs and walls and penetrations.
2. Use surface mounted type (NRCA manual) on existing walls.
3. Use umbrella type (NRCA manual) on pipes that are not open.
4. Do not terminate base flashing or membrane edge exposed on top of parapet walls or in reglets on horizontal or sloped wash surface. Terminate only under cap flashings or coping covers except gravel stops and for draw bands on pipe boots.
5. Use 203 mm (8 inch) minimum height for base flashing.
6. Do not use "pitch pocket" or "sealant pocket" in lieu of base flashings, liquid applied, and cap flashings.
