About this file
This is a Special Notice for a sole-source contract issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for a Pyxis Knowledge Portal Service Subscription. The VA Maryland Health Care System, specifically the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia, intends to award a Firm Fixed award to CareFusion Solutions, LLC (a Becton Dickinson subsidiary) for a proprietary service subscription. The contract will provide access to a knowledge portal with capabilities including data analysis across multiple Pyxis medical systems, unlimited user access with role-based authentication, and customizable reporting for hospital performance indicators.
The solicitation (36C24525Q0670) has a response deadline of July 21, 2025 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time, with interested parties required to submit evidence of capability and an Authorization Service Letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer. The procurement is classified under NAICS code 541519 and Product Service Code J065, with the contract being justified as a sole-source acquisition due to CareFusion Solutions being the exclusive manufacturer and service provider for Pyxis equipment.
