About this file
This document is an amendment to a federal solicitation for Anesthesiologist Services at the Clarksburg, WV VA Medical Center. The amendment extends the offers due date to May 6, 2024 and adds questions and responses.
The key details are:
- This is an existing requirement, not a new contract. The VA currently has 2 staff Anesthesiologists and uses locums as needed.
- The Anesthesiologists will supervise CRNAs but also perform their own independent cases. The typical caseload is 1-8 cases per day, with common procedures including endoscopies, cataracts, total joints, vascular, endourology, ENT, and general surgery.
- The solicitation is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The credentialing timeline is approximately 8 weeks.
- The VA is seeking to add Anesthesiologist support to supplement their current 2 staff Anesthesiologists.
