Questions and Answers
1. Are you able to advise of the anticipated number of cars to be Valet parked per hour?
The VA Maryland Health Care System main campus (10 N Greene Street, Baltimore MD 21201) sees approximately 1500 patients per day. There are three parking levels within the garage P1, P2, and P3. Each parking level has approximately 250 parking spaces. Valet services are only offered on P1, which has 150 parking spaces reserved for Valet Services only.
The VA Maryland Health Care Community Living Center (3900 Loch Raven Blvd, Baltimore MD 21218) has approximately 31 parking spaces available for Valet Services. Valet Services will use the entrance of Building #5 located at 3901 Alameda Blvd.
1. What are the anticipated number of hours per day Valet staff are required to be available?
Valet Services are offered Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm(with no break in service due to contractor employee lunch breaks or coffee breaks) excluding Federal Holidays and any other day specifically declared by the President of the United States.
1. Could you provide us with the current contract number and the corresponding contract amount?
Contract Number :36C24519C0006 , Contract Amount: $1,650,000.00
1. We are a newly formed SDVOSB and we do not have the exact NAICS code found in the solicitation however we are registered in SAM.gov and fully certified in SBA as a SDVOSB. If we were to add the NAICS code it would essentially turn The Jandor Group into a non-registered company for 2 weeks or so. We currently have Veterans and families that depend on the outcomes of our proposals so going into SAM.gov to add the exact NAICS code is very difficult for us. Would you still be willing to take our competitive proposal if we do not have the exact code but we do conform to the Small Business and SDVOSB elements? Contingent on you obtaining a letter of eligibility from the SBA.
1. How many people are currently working on the Valet Services contract?
There is a Contracting Specialist, and a Contracting Officer Representative working on the Valet Services Contract.
1. Have there been any issues with the current contract provider specifically around meeting Service Levels?
There have been no issues or concerns with the current contract provider meeting our service level expectations.
1. If there are issues with the current provider meeting service levels, is it due to not enough employees working or bad behavior etc.?

1. Can you share how much the last contract was on base year and options?

1. Do you have a range that the VA Maryland Healthcare Valet believes the base year should be? No
1. How far is the parking structure from the drop off point of the main hospital?
Valet Services at The VA Maryland Health Care System main campus (10 N Greene Street, Baltimore MD 21201) are offered in the garage which is located directly underneath the hospital.
1. Please advise the contract number and name of the Contractor that this contract will follow.

1. Is there a current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with any unions relevant to this Parking Management Contract? If yes, could you please provide us with a copy of the agreement?
There is currently no CBA relevant or associated with Valet parking services.
1. Could you supply a list of the valet equipment that is presently in use and will be available to the incoming operator? Specifically, we are interested in items like podiums, radios, and umbrellas.
The contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management, safety management, and training. The contractor will be held responsible for the following:
-locking key cabinet to be provided in the Government provided valet area -uniforms (including outerwear, jackets, hats etc.) to all personnel working under this contract
- maintain adequate licensed drivers to provide all services
1. What is the daily average valet vehicle count for the locations at 10 N Greene Street, Baltimore, Maryland, 21201 and 3900 Loch Raven Blvd, Baltimore, Maryland, 21218? This information will help us create an efficient staffing schedule.

1. Could you please share the existing valet schedule? We would like to evaluate this information for efficient staff allocation.
Valet Services are offered Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm excluding Federal Holidays and any other day specifically declared by the President of the United States.
1. Is there a covered office or valet booth that is equipped with both air conditioning and heating?
Valet Services operate from the designated entrance on P1 of the Baltimore Garage, and from the designated entrance of building #5 Located at 3901 Alameda Blvd
1. Will the VA provide storage space for valet equipment?
Storage spaces are provided in the designated Valet services areas
1. Is it a requirement for all employees to wear name tags while on duty?
The contractor will provide uniforms (including outerwear, jackets, hats etc.) to all personnel working under this contract. Uniforms shall facilitate easy identification of contractor employees by employee name and company name.
1. Could you provide claims information related to valet services for the past two years?
There were no claims filed within the past two years.
1. Are employees permitted to park their vehicles in the same parking lot where they work, or is there a designated parking area specifically for employees?
Valet Services employees are permitted to park at the onsite parking garages.
1. Will the incoming operator have the flexibility to negotiate adjustments to billing, particularly if significant external changes impact ongoing costs?
This is a firm-fixed price contract.
1. Is parking provided free of charge for the operator's employees, or will they be required to pay for parking?
Parking is provided free of charge for operator’s employees.
1. What is the daily vehicle count for each site individually (main campus and Community Living Center)?
