1540 Spring Valley Drive Huntington WV 25701 Phillip Duba Contracting Specialist Phillip.Duba@va.gov Response to Sole Source Physician Leadership Development Veterans’ Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this Notice of Intent to Sole Source in order to identify any potential sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide a comprehensive vehicle for Physician Leadership Development Training courses at the following VA Medical Centers: Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, Martinsburg, WV, Beckley, WV, Louis A Johnson (Clarksburg, WV), and the Hershel “Woody” Williams (Huntington, WV).
SERVICES REQUIRED
Physician Leadership Development Training consist of courses taught by physicians, for physicians to provide certification in healthcare leadership. Six of the courses are to be taught at the Baltimore, MD VA Medical Center, with two courses each taught at the other five VA Medical Centers (Martinsburg, WV, Huntington WV, Beckley WV, Washington DC, and Clarksburg, WV). The requirement exists for these courses to be taught in all locations for the convenience of the student-physicians.
Additionally, training must lead to an accredited, industry recognized certification in Physicians Leadership Development. The company will be responsible to provide all training materials and supplies for up to fifty attendees per class.

· Physician in Management – Negotiation
· Physician in Management – Quality

INTERESTED & CAPABLE RESPONSES:
NCO 5 is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, rights, and capabilities necessary to provide these services. Please respond with your:
1. Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), person of contact (including telephone number & email address), GSA Contract number if applicable, and DUNS number
2. Capability statement
Responses must be submitted by 2:00 PM (EDT) March 20, 2019. Responses to the information requested above may be submitted via email to Phillip.Duba@va.gov.
This Special Notice of Intent to sole source is for planning purposes ONLY. The results of this notice will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice.
