B.4 STATEMENT OF WORK

Bulk purchase of Cherokee brand scrubs

1. Purpose of project:

This contract is to procure a large number of Cherokee brand scrubs and jackets. The purpose of this order is to fill orders for people who have been waiting for scrubs, some as long as 4 months. This order will also let us build up a small stock of sizes for new employee arrivals. They need to be Cherokee brand to match what currently is in use. We have also found that the Cherokee brand scrubs last longer which saves money. This is due us having sporadic at best access to a Government Purchase Card holder which is how these orders would normally be made.

2. Background:

We rarely have access to a purchase card and the delays lead up to us having a large number of new employees providing their own scrubs when they should be wearing scrubs provided by the employer as stated in their employment agreement. This order will enable us to fill numerous backorders for current employees who have been waiting up to 4 months. This will also mean those employees will be wearing Cherokee scrubs and now match with the co-workers instead of standing out because they have different scrubs.

3. Tasks and deliverables:

2167 pieces of Cherokee brand scrubs and jackets, some with embroidery as specified in the spread sheet. Embroidery will be the VA logo on the left chest above the words Department of Veteran Affairs which will be above Wilmington Delaware.

4. Delivery and installation:

B. 7 loading dock, Wilmington VAMC, 1601 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE. 198

5. Question and Quoting
