Clarifications/Answers to vendor question concerning the Solicitation
1. Please clarify, it states all equipment that’s at the VA needs pick up in whole, and emergency taken care of that day and Routine delivers are to be done in one day, the next paragraph clarifying routine delivers can or should be done in 48 hours, which one is correct.
Emergency taken care of that day, routine delivers can or should be done in 48 hours
1. Site visits, states prior to award site can be inspected by VA, if we currently don’t have a space in that area as long as we have it before we start the contract that is ok, correct?
Correct
1. Just to confirm we can do bids per site based on the quantity list on part 11 that shows number for each site. As opposed to all-inclusive line items in the bid.
Contractor can quote per site if desired but can also give one all site inclusive price if desired..
1. To be clear DME is beds, wheelchairs, bath aids, this bid does not include stairlifts and or vehicle lifts correct?
Stair Lifts and Vehicle lifts are not included in this Contract
1. Are we required to have a RESNA tech for this contract?
A RESNA Tech is not required for this contract. However, we asked for an ATP certified person to assist in wheelchair set ups though (assistive Technology professional). Our intent was that they did not need an ATP to be awarded the contract but as an expectation of fulfilling the contract they had to get one. (An ATP certified person is not required for each site. One rep can work all sites as long as the time requirements are met.)
