About this file
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for telephone switchboard operator services at the Erie VA Medical Center. The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks quotes to provide coverage 12 hours per day from 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, with the potential for additional coverage from 8:00am to 4:30pm due to call volume. The base period of performance is from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021 with four optional one-year extensions. Quotes are due by December 20, 2019 and must include pricing for the base year and each option year. The solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and is subject to the limitations on subcontracting and wage determination requirements. The selected contractor must comply with all VA security, privacy, and personnel background check requirements and provide the services outlined in the detailed statement of work including receiving calls, call routing, information services, emergency response, and reporting.
