All components must be compatible with the existing system and comply with NFPA 72, 2025 VA Edition standards. The scope of work includes reworking and reconnecting fiber optic cables across 18 fiber cabinets, programming, testing, commissioning of new devices, and ensuring full system functionality with code print-out capabilities, while eliminating existing ground faults.
The salient characteristics specify required quantities across multiple component categories: 21 fire alarm control panel doors, 21 CPUs, 22 remote annunciators, 34 power supplies, 18 common relay modules, 42 fiber net com modules, 21 network adapter modules, 21 mounting brackets, 24 switch banks, 5 microphones, 5 audio and telephone interface modules, 22 LCD annunciators/touch screens, and 84 network controllers for annunciators. The Government has expressed a preference for domestically manufactured content. Interested parties must submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) by July 2, 2026, for Government consideration.
