About this file

Summary

This is a Sources Sought Notice for hospital ice and water dispensers intended to serve the New York Harbor Healthcare System, which includes three Veterans Affairs facilities located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and St. Albans. The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 2 is seeking information from potential suppliers regarding their capability to provide and service ice and water dispensing equipment. This pre-solicitation notice aims to identify qualified vendors before the issuance of a formal solicitation. The notice encourages interested parties to submit capability statements and relevant company information, which will help the government determine the competitive landscape and inform the specifications for the upcoming formal Request for Proposals or solicitation.

As a Sources Sought Notice, this document serves as a market research tool and does not constitute a binding commitment to issue a contract or an invitation to submit a formal proposal at this time. Respondents should provide information about their products, service capabilities, pricing models, delivery timelines, and relevant experience with healthcare facility equipment. The government will use the responses to develop appropriate acquisition strategy and specifications for the anticipated formal solicitation that will follow this pre-solicitation phase.
