STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
Project # 561A4-26-503 Replacement Coils for Buildings 4, 53, 54, 57, 135, 143 1/29/2026
1. Contract description.
Replacement Chilled Water Coils, Steam Coils for Buildings 4, 53, 54, 57, 135, and 143.

The Lyons, New Jersey VA Medical Center is undertaking a project to replace numerous AHU coils in Buildings 4, 53, 54, 57,135, and 143. Without functioning coils, these AHUs lose the ability to properly heat or cool corresponding spaces. Given the need for redundancies in these buildings, coils must be replaced and installed immediately to avoid situations that would leave entire floors or buildings without cooling or heating.
Ensuring all AHUs are capable and functioning would create beneficial redundancies, ultimately protecting the safety of the veterans.
