The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 13.106(b) maintenance and support of the WaveMark Inventory Management System to WaveMark, Inc a Cardinal Health Company.

Period of performance: 10/01/2023 – 09/30/2024 with the provision of four (4) option years.

Basic description of the requirement: This requirement is to provide service maintenance for the WaveMark Inventory Management System. The Contractor is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and will provide hardware maintenance, software maintenance and support for the WaveMark system, The Government shall maintain the right to seek proof of qualification prior to award and anytime during the contract period of performance. All work shall be performed by OEM Certified Field Service Engineer due to patents associated with the WaveMark product line.

WaveMark Inc., a Cardinal Health Company is the only provider since the equipment is proprietary and maintenance, therefore, can only be provided by WaveMark Inc., a Cardinal Health Company.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by June 26, 2023, at 12:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).

The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.

Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE – WAVEMARK, INC. in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contracting Specialist, Dolores Sachuk-Thompson at Dolores.Sachuk-Thompson@va.gov . The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
