36C24222Q0495 SPS Instrument Sharpening and Maintenance Q&A

Q1. Are Dental Handpieces and other off-site repairs to be covered under a separate purchase option?

A1. No they should be included.

Q2. Can you give the number of case carts per facility? Case Cart Repair?

A2. The number of carts range from 20-120 per site.

A preventive maintenance program in place which would allow each site to have up to 10 carts per month. If major repairs are needed a quote is sent to the COR who in turn will contact the SPS chief for approval of repairs. A separate P.O. will be issued for the repairs needed. PWS has been amended

Q3. In the QASP you refer to a 1 per monthly service for Buffalo but refer to 10 trays weekly in the explanation. Do you want a weekly schedule or a monthly schedule for Buffalo?

A3. QASP corrected to monthly.

Q4. Are the serialized devices that are in the inventory lists part of an OEM or Biomedical repair program or are they included for repair in this RFQ and will be awarded for service and repair to the vendor?

A4. Yes, included in the RFQ
