About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document providing Government responses to vendor inquiries regarding RFQ 36C24126Q0788 for Strand-Specific RNA-Sequencing Services. The document addresses five key clarifications: sample processing will commence by end of October; hard drives containing sequencing data will be delivered to VA Bedford Healthcare System in Bedford, MA; secure electronic or cloud-based data delivery is not authorized and physical hard drive delivery is required per the Performance Work Statement; all RNA samples will be DNase-treated and DNA-free upon contractor receipt; and the purified, non-infectious RNA samples are classified as Biosafety Level 1 (BSL-1). These responses directly support the primary solicitation requiring sequencing services for 269 Government-furnished human choroid plexus total RNA samples, with a firm-fixed-price contract type, 100 percent small business set-aside, and quotes due September 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time.
