About this file

This is Amendment P0001 to an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Request for Quote (RFQ) for dumpster rental services issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 1 (VHA VISN 1). The amendment extends the quote submission deadline from May 21, 2026 to May 26, 2026 at 11:00 AM EDT and provides responses to nine questions submitted by potential vendors.

The procurement requires monthly rental of 15-cubic-yard, 20-cubic-yard, and 30-cubic-yard dumpsters to include tonnage for construction renovation projects, with pricing to be submitted on a firm fixed-price basis. The base period of performance runs from June 9, 2026 through January 12, 2027, with four optional one-year renewal periods extending through January 12, 2031. The current incumbent is performing services under Purchase Order 36C24121P0354 B+4 valued at $160,640.00. The VA intends to compete this requirement and will use the contract for Massachusetts locations, though specific deployment sites and quantities are indefinite at award. All offerors must have an active SAM.gov registration prior to award and comply with FAR 52.222-90 regarding nondiscrimination in diversity, equity, and inclusion activities. Alternate quotes for consideration may be submitted at the Contracting Officer's discretion.

As used in this clause— Program participation means membership or participation in, or access or admission to: training, mentoring, or leadership development programs; educational opportunities; clubs; associations; or similar opportunities that are sponsored or established by the contractor or subcontractor.

Racially discriminatory diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) activities means disparate treatment based on race or ethnicity in the recruitment, employment (e.g., hiring, promotions), contracting (e.g., vendor agreements), program participation, or allocation or deployment of an entity's resources.
