About this file
This document is an Amendment 0002 to a contract, providing clarifications and additional tasking for fuel supply and generator operations. The amendment addresses three key questions: fuel type for emergency generators, sizes of OFF ROAD fuel tanks, and annual fuel consumption volumes. For generators, Off Road Diesel is required, with a winter blend preferred from October to March. The document details multiple fuel tanks ranging from 50 to 2,000 gallons, including tanks labeled G-10, G-11, G-4, G-5, G-8, G-9, P1, P3, P4, and an Ingersol Rand tank. Annual fuel consumption is specified as approximately 10,300 gallons for certain quarters and 6,000 gallons for campus generators.
The additional tasking requires the fuel supplier to provide a certification for each shipment or delivery, which must include: the name of the fuel supplier, delivery date, volume of fuel delivered per location, and either separate invoices for each tank/building or a consolidated invoice with a breakdown by tank. These requirements aim to ensure detailed documentation and tracking of fuel deliveries across multiple tanks and locations.

Amendment 0002 Questions/Additional Tasking –
1. In the statement of work for the generator, it states home heating oil in the first section. In the second section it mentions generators. It states “The Contractor shall provide fuel for VAME Emergency Generators.” It doesn’t mention fuel type. Since generators aren’t supposed to use home heating oil, what type of fuel is required? Are they specifically looking for a winter blend, or is a standard blend acceptable? Are there any specific additives required?
