This document provides an amendment to an earlier sources sought notification for professional architecture and engineering design services. The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 1 seeks potential sources to reconstruct and repave roads and parking lots; add parking spaces and striping; replace existing sidewalks, curbs, storm inlets and storm drainage; install new sidewalks; and add lighting and security upgrades at its medical center campus located in Augusta, Maine. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $5 million to $10 million. Interested small disadvantaged veteran-owned small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, and small businesses must indicate their interest by submitting responses by January 19, 2024 with information including their unique entity identifier, socio-economic status, experience, ability to self-perform at least 50% of the work, interest and capability, and proof of liability insurance. The response will be used to determine the appropriate socio-economic set-aside for the subsequent solicitation requesting qualification statements.
