Text version

1. In the SOW item one it states perform annual tank inspection, treatment, and fuel filtering on 3 aboveground storage tanks. Then in item 2 it says Aboveground storage tanks shall be inspected in years 2024 and 2027. Can you please verify what is to be yearly and what is to be done in 2024 and 2027 only for aboveground storage tanks? Also are these external inspections only? The AGST should be inspected every three years. The tanks should be visually inspected every three years and have fuel samples done in the off years to keep them in compliance. The 2024 and 2027 visual inspections are external.

2. Item 4 states perform inspection, treatment, and fuel filtering on 3 underground storage tanks with no schedule, but item 3 states inspections are yearly. Am I correct to assume all tasks are yearly? What is the scope of the inspection? Underground tanks are yearly, UST should be visually inspected, fuel filtered and treated with a fuel additive ( ILFC 1032 ) or a similar product.

3. Do they have prior fuel sample analysis results, if so can they share? Prior results are kept on file, they are not sharable.

4. Do they have an idea of amount of standing water in each tank? no

5. Does each tank have adequate openings to allow easy setup of polishing equipment. (2) open 4” ports (1) at each end of the tank? yes I suggest a walkthrough.

6. Can they provide a detailed spec on the ILFC 1032 fuel stabilizer they are calling for.
