1. 1/27/2024
The specs call out to remove and reinstall existing leader and radon pipes. However, do we also need to remove ductwork, electrical generator switch and all electrical wires to be able to repoint the brick underneath?
No. Have mason “tightly” work around those utility items. But when finally applying sealer to masonry, wand sealant well at areas behind these utilities that were not accessible to repointing with multiple coats.

On page 8 of the solicitation section “b) Submittals”, it states that at the time of bidding the contractor needs to submit manufacturers literature, brick and concrete masonry samples, certificates, certifications and MSDS sheets. Please confirm these submissions would be required after award and not part of the bid process.
Required after award.
4. 1/30/2024 Is there a plan holders or bid list available?
No. There is, however, an “Interested Vendor List” via the solicitation on SAM.gov. However, this is a voluntary list and may contain companies not eligible to bid for this contract. There is also a site-walk sign-in sheet that will be posted, along with the answer to these RFIs, that has the names of companies who attended the site walk, and presumably are interested in the project. It is advised that all interested parties attend site visits to future projects for networking purposes.
5. 1/30/2024 Would a site visit be possible still at this time?
No. Section IB-VII of the “Instructions to All Bidders”, found on page 49 of the solicitation, states that no other site visits will be conducted.
6. 1/30/2024
The project documents did not include any specifications. Can you please provide specifications including products used as basis of design and application processes to perform the work.
