March 2010 Omnicell BPA 06516 36C24119Q0141 03-19-2019 N 333993 Department of Veterans Affairs VA Connecticut 950 Campbell Avenue West Haven CT 06516 The VA’s New England Healthcare System (VISN 1), Network Contracting Office One (NCO 1), intends to negotiate a sole source blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with Omnicell Inc. 592 E. Middlefield Rd. Mountain View, CA 94043-4008 for Medical Dispensing Systems, Supplies, Products and Support Services. A limited source justification has been prepared and approved by the VHA HCA under FAR 8.405-6 (limited sources).

This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government, and a potential offeror has access to proprietary benchmarking data from the private sector and all other VHA networks. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 333993, Packaging Machinery Manufacturing. The Small Business Administration size standard for this sector is 500 Employees.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities no later than 12:00 P.M. Easter Standard Time on March 20th, 2019. The interested parties bear full responsibility to ensure complete transmission and timely receipt.
