About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) related to providing legal and financial services to designated Primary Family Caregivers enrolled in the VA's Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers. The VA is conducting market research to identify the commercial market's ability to fulfill potential requirements in this area.

The RFI requests responses to a questionnaire covering topics such as the respondent's experience, capabilities, and capacity to provide nationwide legal and financial consultation services, including in areas like advanced directives, power of attorney, wills, guardianship, household budgeting, debt management, and retirement planning. Respondents are asked to provide information on their service delivery models, languages supported, subcontractor plans, and self-evaluation practices. There is no solicitation at this time, and the VA is not seeking proposals or quotes. Responses to the RFI are due by April 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM EDT and will be used by the VA to develop an acquisition strategy and refine the Performance Work Statement.
