CONTINUATION OF STANDARD FORM 30 (SF 30)

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS AMENDMENT

1.Question: Is this effort a new requirement or a follow-on to an existing contract?
Answer: This is a new requirement. The previous requirement was rolled up into a Commercial Facility Management Contract, which included janitorial services and other requirements.
2.Question: What is the incumbent contractor’s name and what is the contract number?
Answer: Rowe Contracting Services, Contract #: VA101V-15-J-0262
3.Question: What is the annual value of the existing contract?
Answer: It is included in the current O&M contract’s scope. The janitorial service is subcontracted by the Prime contractor. The monthly cost is $3,575.00.
4.Question: Can a floor plan be supplied?
Answer: Not on short notice.
5.Question: The contractor must provide consumables. What is the occupancy FTE?
Answer: 114 FTE
6.Question: Are there any changes to the scope of work that the current contractor is performing?
Answer: Policing the grounds is the only change.
7.Question: What is the size of the VCT, tile floor in square feet?
Answer: VCT=1374, Quarry tile=2,005
8.Question: What is the size of the carpeted floor in square feet?
Answer: Regarding the answer in #7, The rest of the building is carpet.
9.Question: As per PWS 12.4b, can you clarify if the statement is referring to both strip/wax/buff & carpet shampoo deep cleaning and that these semi-annual tasks should be quoted separately and not be included in the B.2 price/cost schedule?
Answer: The current contract includes the bi-annual deep clean, and is when the hard floors, and carpets are maintained. They are not quoted/billed separately.
10.Question: How many restrooms are there?
Answer: There are four restrooms.
11.Question: What is the number of restroom fixtures, i.e., urinal, toilet, sinks, partitions, doors, etc.?
Answer: 2 showers, 6 sinks, 8 toilets total (6 partitioned), and 2 waterless urinals (partitioned)
12.Question: What is the current supply type used in the restroom for soap, paper towels, toilet paper, dispensers, and is there a toilet seat cover?
Answer: Yes, toilet seat covers should be included. Local Montana Broom & Brush products.
13.Question: What is the quantity and type of dispensers that are being used in the restrooms?
Answer: toilet seat covers for each toilet, 6 paper towel dispensers, 3 roll/2roll tissue paper dispenser each toilet, 4 hand soap dispensers. 7 hand sanitizer dispensers in common areas, and 2 paper towel dispensers in lunchroom.
14.Question: What is the average occupancy rate?
Answer: Estimated 60-65 factoring in teleworkers working from home.
