About this file

This document is a Q&A file for Solicitation Number 36C10D26Q0001, a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) procurement opportunity set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The solicitation seeks to procure 8 trailer bins (4 Iron Bull 20-foot bins and 4 Big Tex 14-foot bins) for delivery to a Veteran's residence in Luckey, OH. Originally, the solicitation included dumpster rental software and an HP ZBook laptop, but these items have been removed from the current version.

Key details from the Q&A include clarification on delivery requirements: partial delivery is acceptable, offloading is the vendor's responsibility, and delivery can be made together on a flatbed truck. The delivery location has ample acreage and a concrete driveway. Vendors must provide bins that meet or exceed the specified brands and specifications, specifically fitting on a standard 54" hook lift. The VA confirmed that only the individual hook lift bins are required, not a complete roll-off trailer system. No specific warranty expectations were noted, and delivery timing will be determined after award.
