About this file
This is a Special Notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center Austin regarding the Patient Advocate Tracking System – Replacement (PATS-R) Enhancement and Sustainment requirement (Solicitation Number 36C10B26Q0662, VA-27-00003376). The notice informs respondents to a previous Request for Information (RFI 36C10B26Q0062) that the requirement is currently on hold while the VA finalizes its acquisition strategy. No further action will be taken on the RFI at this time, and no additional submissions are being requested.
The VA clarifies that the original RFI was issued for market research and planning purposes only and did not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment to award. Consequently, the current hold does not affect any existing contractual relationships, and vendors are not entitled to compensation for costs incurred in preparing or submitting responses. The agency acknowledges the time and effort invested by responding organizations and indicates that any future engagement related to this requirement will be communicated through official channels such as SAM.gov, whether pursued under the same RFI number or through an alternative acquisition path.
