About this file

This is a Special Notice announcing the Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center's intent to award a sole source contract to Doximity Inc. for Amion software subscription and technical support services. Amion is a healthcare scheduling platform that enables VA hospitals to manage and share on-call and shift schedules for physicians and medical staff, providing real-time updates to support Veteran-centered care priorities including specialty, urgent, and mental health coverage. The platform facilitates provider mobilization during urgent care scenarios such as stroke, heart attack, or urgent surgeries.

The contractor must provide 24/7/365 technical support for all subscriptions purchased, including major product and technology releases, updates, fixes, security alerts, data fixes, critical patch updates, upgrade scripts, tax and legal updates, and certification with third-party products. Support must also encompass data transfer from existing non-Amion programs without significant impact or operational delays. Interested parties may submit a capabilities statement by July 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM EST to substantiate their ability to provide the required services. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price contract and reserves the right to determine whether to compete the requirement based on responses received. If no viable responses are received by the deadline, the Department of Veterans Affairs will award solely to Doximity Inc. The contracting office is located in Eatontown, New Jersey, and the point of contact is Phillip Kang, Contract Specialist.
