About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center in Eatontown, New Jersey for a Patient Monitoring System serving high-risk patient populations. The VA seeks to identify qualified vendors capable of implementing and hosting the InvisALERT Solutions ObservSMART platform within the VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC). The system is designed to streamline patient monitoring and care management by capturing and maintaining critical patient information during provider rounds to support real-time, accurate clinical data and high-quality care delivery. The RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a binding solicitation; responses cannot form a contract. Responses are due by March 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time and should be submitted to Contract Specialist Ana Subashi at ana.subashi@va.gov.

Interested vendors must provide company information including name, CAGE/DUNS number, address, and points of contact, along with a technical approach summary not exceeding six pages. Vendors should describe their experience with similar VA contracts, assess whether the draft Product Description provides sufficient technical and functional detail, and recommend any existing contract vehicles for the procurement. Small businesses and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) must indicate their ability to meet set-aside requirements, specifically demonstrating that at least 50 percent of costs will be expended for eligible firm employees. All proprietary information must be clearly marked. The government will retain all submissions as property and is under no obligation to provide feedback or request clarification. Non-response to this RFI does not preclude participation in any subsequent Request for Proposal.
