CONTINUATION PAGE

The purpose of this amendment is formally issue the Request for Proposal. The RFQ due date shall be 9/23/2025 at 8:00M EST to Matthew.newell@va.gov and Evan.lee1@va.gov This amendment also revises the Proposal Submission Instructions and Product Description 5.3.1.2. Please find the revised Section B.5 and Section E.8 below highlighted in yellow.

Question
Answer

In several places such as B.4 Price Schedule, IB is defined as “Inventory Base (IB)”, while other sections such as 5.2 CISCO INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT SERVICES refer to IB as “Install Base (IB)”, or section 5.2.3 ADVANCED HARDWARE REPLACEMENT “installed base (IB)”

As the term “Inventory” could refer to the act necessitating a survey and inventory function, and the term “Install(ed)” could refer to an existing list, could the Government please clarify the desired terminology and its intent?

Use of Inventory Base (IB) and Install Base (IB) can be considered interchangeable, and would refer to what is known as the Cisco Installed Base (IB)

IB is now available, please email matthew.newell@va.gov and Evan.lee1@va.gov for access to the base.
