About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a solicitation for a Drug Supply Chain Security Act solution provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The solicitation seeks a solution to track pharmaceuticals from the saleable unit level across the VA enterprise of approximately 320 locations. Key details include that the solution should integrate with the Oracle/Cerner EHR inventory management system to scan received items and serialized data. The solution is also expected to support electronic processes for drug verification, suspect and illegitimate product investigations, and serial number decommissioning. Pricing and response dates are not provided, as the document appears to be questions and answers to inform potential offerors rather than the solicitation itself. Future enhancements such as integration with additional systems are mentioned but not required for initial responses.
