Question: Does the Government want each kit in some sort of container (bag, box, case, etc)? If so, is there a preference of what type of container and should it be reusable (i.e. the kit items can be contained in it for the life of the kit) or disposable?

Answer: The VA does not require the items to be bundled, but will accept a contractor bundling the requirement provided that there is no additional cost to the VA. The items do not need to be bundled in a reusable container, a cardboard box or something similar would suffice. While the VA does not require the contractor to bundle the items, it would help to ensure that all items in the tool kit are accounted for and thus prompt faster payment by the VA.
