SF30 Continuation Page The referenced solicitation is amended to read as follows:
a. Section D- SCHEDULE FOR DELIVERABLES. This section will not require a revision. VA has provided a response to industry questions below.
b. SECTION E - SOLICITATION PROVISIONS. This section will not require a revision. VA has provided a response to industry questions below on the number of pages per Volume.
c. The following is a listing of questions raised by industry and the responses provided by the Government. This concludes the question and response timeline. The VA reserves the right to issue an amendment to respond to questions that may impact an Offeror’s proposal.
1. How are daily tasks assigned to the contractor?
Response: See Performance work statement (PWS) Paragraph 4.2 CINDRRVI Project Manager.
Is there a ticketing system?
Response: No
Or is the ticketing system only used for critical and non-critical issues?
Response: See response above.
2. What are the core support hours?
Response: There are no core support hours. See section 5.1 g
3. Are there any backups configured for the Windows Operating system or are there only backups for the SQL database?
Response: Only backups configured for the SQL database
Is there any backup software?
Response: Yes
4. How much storage is allocated to each of the eight systems? How much storage is allocated to the SQL databases?
Response: All systems are virtual; therefore, minimal storage is allocated as needed. The file server has 1 TB and the SQL server has 320 GB allocated.
5. What is the version of Windows Server and MSSQL are the systems running?
Response: Windows 2008 & 2012 and MS SQL 2012
6. Is the potential contractor responsible for managing any non-Microsoft distributed applications?
Response: The potential contractor is “only” responsible for the Specific Tasks and Deliverables outline in Section 5 of the PWS.
7. Is the potential contractor responsible for managing the SAS application?
Response: See response to question 6.
8. Does the potential contractor need to be physically onsite to perform tasks?
Response: See PWS paragraph 4.2: The Contractor may perform tasks under this PWS at Contractor facility (Offsite) or alternatively at CINDRR offices located 8900 Grand Oak Circle, Tampa, FL. 33637 except for local ad-hoc CINDRR planning meetings.
9. What is the anticipated start date?
Response: See Section B.1. Paragraph 1 of the PWS: We expect services to begin on or around June. Final start dates will be determined prior to award
10. How are these services currently being performed?
Response: Temporary performed In-house.

Response: Base and four option periods to include 6 month extension was $129,497.46.
12. What is the anticipated RFP release date?
Response: The solicitation was released on April 12, 2018 with a closing date and time of May 4, 2018 at 2P.M.
13. Section 5.1 of the PWS states: The Contractor shall provide CINDRRVI network support. The Government estimates requiring approximately eight total network support actions monthly." In the list that follows, there are only seven network support actions. Is there an eight?
Response: Section 5.1 contains only seven total network support actions monthly (Paragraph a – g). Is there an eight? No, there are only seven listed.
14. Is this information correct?
6.1 ENTERPRISE AND IT FRAMEWORK (para 7) VA operating system, currently Windows 7 (64bit), Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Office 2010. In preparation for the future VA standard configuration update, end user solutions shall also be compatible with Office 2013 and Windows 8.1. However, Office 2013 and Windows 8.1 are not the VA standard yet and are currently not approved for use on the VA Network, but are in-process for future approval by OI&T. Upon the release approval of Office 2013 and Windows 8.1 individually as the VA standard, Office 2013 and Windows 8.1 will supersede Office 2010 and Windows 7 respectively.
Response: Yes
15. Is the scope of work in solicitation number 36C10A18Q0194 the same as solicitation number VA24812Q3075 (contract number VA24812P5687)?
Response: No. The scope of work has been modified to reflect the required technical tasks in support of the CINDRR Virtual Infrastructure.
16. Is this expected to be 1 or 2 FTEs?
Response: The Contractor is responsible for proposing their FTE based on PWS requirements.
17. Is there a requirement for the contractor to be on Government site 40 hours/week?
Response: No. Work can be done remotely. See response to question 4 and PWS Paragraph 5 Specific tasks.
18. The response date for proposal submission?
Response: Proposals are due by May 4, 2018.
19. When clicking on this link (www.opm.gov\extra\investigate), it appears that the information is no longer available?
Response: The link redirects you to the correct site, which is https://archive.opm.gov/investigate/index.aspx.
20. What is the cost for actual background investigations conducted through OPM?
Response: Please review the link provided in question 9 for costs associated with background investigations.
21. Please provide the page limitations for the Technical and Past Performance volumes.
Response: The Technical Volume shall not exceed three (3) pages and the Past Performance volume shall not exceed nine (9) pages.
22. Volume Vl - Solicitation, Offer and Award Documents and Certifications/Representations--What is meant by "An Acrobat PDF file shall be created to capture the signatures for submission?"
Response: The Contractor shall submit a complete and fully executed solicitation (SF1449) with signature in an Acrobat PDF file.
23. In section 5.1 Network Support, List item "g", the government states that we as the contractor have a four hour window to respond to critical issues. Will that four hour response be required to be onsite or remote?
Response: Remote
24. Is it possible to get an inventory list of the systems, software, devices and more importantly physical & logical architecture diagrams?
Response: Inventory list of systems is included in the PWS. A list of software installed on the systems can be provided. VHA ESL is responsible for the hardware systems; therefore, they would need to provide physical & logical architecture diagrams or contractor can create them. We do not have any currently.
25. Does the government have an FTE count for this project or desired FTE count?
Response: See Question 16 above.
26. Is there an incumbent to the project? If so who was it and what was the previous contract value and FTE count?
Response: See Question 11 and 16 above.
27. Is the proposal submitted electronically to your attention as the COR? Or mailed to your attention at the Technology Acquisition Center-Austin? I did not see that it was clearly defined.
