About this file

This document is an Attachment E - Certified Disadvantaged Business Outreach Plan related to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for 30 GPS Collars for Fisher and Grey Fox, issued by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) on behalf of Douglas County. The ITB requires bidders to describe the steps they will take to solicit certified minority-owned, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, and emerging small businesses (Certified Firms) for subcontracting opportunities if awarded the contract. Bidders must indicate if they are a Certified Firm themselves and provide a list of Certified Firms and other minority/woman/veteran-owned/emerging small businesses they have contracted with in the past two years.

The solicitation also requires bidders to describe any subcontracting opportunities and approximate dollar values, as well as their willingness to report the identity and value of each subcontract to the Oregon Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) if awarded the contract. The contract will be awarded by Douglas County, and the successful bidder must comply with the Certified Disadvantaged Business Outreach Plan requirements.
